Began radio career in 1979 in Paducah, KY. In 1984 moved to Nashville, TN. Was employed by WSM and won 1984 CMA Broadcast Personality of the Year award.

Joined K103 in 1990 and in 1992 (in addition to on air at K103), was “Kent Crider the Midnite Rider” on Kix country 104 in St. Louis on Saturday evenings.

Married, one son, one daughter

Favorite Artists: Hank Williams Jr., Keith Whitley, and Delbert McClinton.

Favorite Groups: The Eagles and the now retired Statler Brothers.
